Nous recherchons un ou une stagiaire en  Assurance Qualité / Test pour nos jeux sur consoles et PC. Le stage est à pourvoir dès juillet.

Poste :  Stage conventionné

Dates : De juillet à décembre 2019

Lieu : Au studio de Montpellier

Mission :

  • Test de notre nouveau jeu Haven et de mises-à-jour de Furi
  • Rapport de bugs, étapes de reproduction, screenshots et captures vidéos
  • Vérification des corrections
  • Vérification des critères de certification des constructeurs
  • Préparation et déploiement des builds hebdomadaires
  • Participation à l’organisation et à l’analyse de playtests (avec des joueurs)

Le stage est encadré par un testeur expérimenté et a lieu au studio de Montpellier avec une partie de l’équipe, dont le directeur créatif. Il nécessite d’être en contact et communication avec toute l’équipe. Il permet de se familiariser avec tous les aspects du développement d’un jeu – qui plus est sur la dernière partie de la production. Les profils recherchés sont sérieux, appliqués, méthodiques, et ont le souci du détail.

Rémunération : Rémunération de stage conventionnelle (environ 554€/mois)

We are pretty excited to share with you a first glimpse at our upcoming game Haven. Since most of you know us from Furi, well, it’s not Furi 2.

Haven is an Adventure RPG about everyday love, rebelling against the rules and also, food. You play as two lovers who escaped to a lost planet. The only thing that matters to them is to stay together.

The game will be available for PC and Consoles, and you will be able to play it solo, or with a special someone.

We’ve been working on it for over a year now, and we will share more with you soon. To stay posted, don’t hesitate to wishlist the game on Steam, join us on our Discord server or register for our very occasional newsletter.

For our Speedrunners on Steam looking for an extra challenge, we are releasing next week a Beta version of Furi with the Speedrun mode in Furier difficulty! The One More Fight DLC bosses The Flame and Bernard are included in the mode for the complete challenge. Follow us on @thegamebakers or for the release next week.

We are also revealing Furi secret TGB code. There is a cheat code on Furi’s main screen, it unlocks the Speedrun mode and the Furier difficulty from a fresh save, you don’t have to finish the game to try them, and it lets you change the game main screen. Check it here:

We haven’t said much about our next game, apart from the fact that it’s console / PC and that it’s a third person action / adventure game. But we are looking for some talents to join our team. 3D Animator

You will be in charge of the 3D animations of the characters for the cut-scenes and scripted events of the game.

When: 8 months from January to August 2015.

Earlier this month, The Game Bakers’ SQUIDS ( launched to great success—reviewers loved it, fans loved it, and the game hit #1 on the App Store’s RPG chart in 34 countries (North America included) and was #1 overall in France!

To celebrate, the developers have cooked up a Halloween treat for SQUIDS fans! (Chocolate-encrusted calamari? Um, no.) The game is newly updated on the App Store with eight Halloween-themed helmets and an additional map that includes two new missions. The new map will be automatically unlocked and does not tie into the main story, so all players will be able to check it out even if you haven’t finished the game yet.

We also want to spread the word that the 50% off launch sale will end soon, so players who haven’t yet managed to dig $0.99 out of the couch cushions should get on it. When the sale ends, the game’s regular price will be $1.99.

We are an independent game studio founded by Emeric Thoa and Audrey Leprince. To sum it up we say we make games like we cook food: with a lot of love. We want to create that experience that you remember, that you have fantasies about long after the game is finished, that makes you feel alive and energized.

We are a studio in the clouds, working with a team of great collaborators around France and the world, with a handful of us based in Montpellier – right above a bakery.

In 2016, we released our adrenaline fuelled boss-fight only game FURI for PlayStation4, PC Switch and Xbox One which received raving reviews from players and press alike. The game is praised for its demanding mix of close combat and dual stick shoot, its unique art style and amazing electro soundtrack. We are now working hard in the kitchen on HAVEN our upcoming romantic RPG for consoles and PC for 2020. Just like for Furi, we hope to surprise players with a game that will create long lasting memories and fill them with energy.

Our first game SQUIDS, an underwater tactical RPG on mobile from 2011 was a great success with an average 5 star user rating. SQUIDS Wild West, followed in its footsteps in 2012 with great reviews. SQUIDS Odyssey, the ultimate SQUIDS compilation is available for Switch, Steam, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

Combo Crew our modern take on old-school brawlers was released in 2013, bringing fighting games to mobile with innovative touch controls. We added the heavyweights from Capcom’s Street Fighter 2 and Viewtiful Joe into the game. In 2014, we developed a TMNT brawler for mobile for Nickelodeon to launch with Michael Bay’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie.

Audrey Leprince

Audrey Leprince

At The Game Bakers, Audrey Leprince is in charge of executive production. She started in the industry as a game designer and producer for Quantic Dream and independent French studios, then spent 6 years in China where she was producer on several AAA console games for Ubisoft. Advocate of Studio in the clouds philosophy, she relocates regularly and is now based in Sweden.

Emeric Thoa

Emeric Thoa is in charge of The Game Bakers’ creative content. He has a background in usability and web design. In a previous life he was Director of Game Design for Ubisoft and he played a major role in the design of best-selling AAA console games. He thinks Shinji Mikami is one of the world’s best game designer and that Atlus, Capybara games and Housemarque are interesting studios to follow.
